Summer Family Activities
By land or by water, there are plenty of fun-filled activities to keep you and your family busy at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe. Some of the exciting Lake Tahoe activities we offer in the summer include:
- Beach: Complimentary chairs and umbrellas, beach concierge, cabana rentals, designated swim area
- Pool: Complimentary chairs and umbrellas, pool concierge, cabana rentals
- Scenic walks
- Roast delicious smores by the firepit
- Boat, jet ski, kayak, and paddle boat rentals are available, as well as water skiing. Please call the concierge for prices and availability.
- Catamaran sailboat rides
- Outdoor dining can be enjoyed at our Lakeside Bar and Grill, Pier 111, Lone Eagle Grille, Sierra Cafe Deck, or Pool Bar and Grill

Camp Hyatt
Make your next vacation fun for all by visiting Camp Hyatt at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino. You’ll be amazed how much they’ll learn about Lake Tahoe’s natural wonders and local legends. Chautauqua (entertainment plus education) is what Camp Hyatt Lake Tahoe is all about!

9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., daily
Reservations & Policies
Camp Hyatt Lake Tahoe is an active program exclusively for our guests ages 3-12 (toilet trained, no diapers or pull-ups).
12 hour advanced reservation required. Call (775) 886-6714 for information and to make reservations for your child. Please call for rates and special Holiday Schedules.
Registration forms and waivers must be filled out by a parent or a guardian before any child participates in Camp Hyatt Lake Tahoe.
Changes or cancellations will be accepted up to 12 hours prior to the reservation. Failure to cancel or change in advance will result in a $35 charge/child.
All counselors undergo thorough background and health checks, as well as CPR and early childhood education coursework.
Winter Family Activities
Let a crisp, white blanket of snow coax out your creative side – build an igloo, make a snow angel or hike using snowshoes. You and your family will make memories to last a lifetime while enjoying activities including:
- Family Fire Pits - Warm yourself – inside and out – with the crackling blaze of a warm fire. Get a s’mores making kit from room service and roast the marshmallows while you and your family enjoy storytelling and star-gazing.
- Snowshoe Hiking – Take a little hike – in the snow. Let our concierge point you in the direction of a great self-guided tour around Lake Tahoe.
- Dinner and a Movie – Order dinner from room service and select a family movie for an evening in together.
